Devotees at Gita Nagari Baru (GNB) in Indonesia performed Go Puja on Guru Purnima, July 9th, in the forest of Bhadravan, one of the three Vrindavan forests they have so far restored.
After performing Go Puja the devotees sit to recite the beautiful prayers to glorify Mother Surabhi called “Gomati Vidya” found in the small booklet entitled Sacred Cow that they have translated in their local language, Bahasa Indonesia.
Devotees in some 28 locations throughout Indonesia regularly perform Go Puja seeking special protection for our Mother Cow.
Their activities are coordinated by a national group they have established called Gau Raksha Indonesia, for which they have given the acronym GAURI.
Whenever they perform Ratha Yatra devotees set up a stall promoting Panchagavya products handmade by devotees.
