Revealing Unseen Illuminance

Today on the Pratipāt, the breaking of dawn held within its womb an act of mercy.

For those devotees, for whom dawn and dusk, waxing and waning would seem insignificant, true significance had been lying in wait, for their blindness externally may not be cured, but for the darkness internally an effort was made to provide all chances.

The release of a Braille edition of the Bhagavad Gita suggested the same.

With the overflowing mercy of HH Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaj, this was made available to the dham vasis in Sridham Mayapur.

The compiler, HG Champakalata dasi, the impetus behind the scenes of this marvellous act, graciously made this offering to the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada through the hands of her dear Gurudev; also, our first devotee graduate from the Devnar School for the Blind in Hyderabad, HG Isvara Puri das, demonstrated what reading from braille actually looks like.

Ultimately, under the watchful eyes of Sri Sri Radha Madhava, the complete ten-volume set was donated to the temple and its library, and this was commemorated by offering to the hands of one of the Co-Directors of the ISKCON Mayapur Temple, HG Subekshana das.

This led to a joyous yet jubilant frenzy among the devotees to know more about the project and have insight into what the challenges in presentation and publication had held.

Therefore, in conclusion, if the movement of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu entails mercy regardless of qualification, it is only right, for those who follow in His footsteps, to uphold that thought and make every endeavor to include those not only with a disability of the heart but also of the senses.

Srila Prabhupad ki jai!
