Unusual Cake for Villagers

On August 19, devotees in Ukraine, under the leadership of Yamuna Prana prabhu who oversees two rural projects in Russia and Ukraine called MOTHER FARM, prepared a special cake as part of their outreach program in the Mali Lysivtsi Village.

Mataji Lilavati and mataji Irina baked a huge cake using 1.5 buckets of walnut and 20 kg butter for making the cream on the cake. In addition, the devotees prepared 60 litres of homemade ginger tea for the occasion.

The large cake had to be carried by van to the village site making sure it did not break or get damaged on the way.

While honouring the cake and ginger tea prasadam prepared by the devotees, Bala prabhu chanted Kirtan using the harmonium.

The villagers very much appreciated the program, especially the end portion when prasadam distribution culminated with the unexpected cake prasadam.

Yamuna Prana prabhu and his local team of devotees regularly visit Nama Hatta groups and villages to introduce the Vedic concepts of “simple living and high thinking” based on natural farming and protection of mother cow.
