Quiz contest based on cows and Krishna was hosted under the aegis of OM Sri Surabhi Campaign, a global campaign started by IDVM-India to protect Mother Cow. The idea was to reach the masses and promote awareness about Gomata among them. A set of 10 multiple choice questions regarding Gomata was prepared. The link for the same was shared along with a beautiful and informative poster on various social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook. The duration for the quiz was from Sri Krishna Janmashtami i.e. 15th August 2017 to Radhashtami 29th August /2017. The quiz also had an optional section where participants wrote about what they would do to promote cow protection.
There was an encouraging response to the move. A large number of devotees participated enthusiastically in the quiz and gave very practical suggestions of ways of participating in Goraksha. Devotees from other countries like America, Canada, Indonesia etc. also participated in the quiz. After the last date, the results were announced. Six candidates had given all correct answers. All the winners will be sent gift hampers as promised. The prizes are sponsored by leading Cow product manufacturer, Cowpathy. IDVM- India minister, His Holiness Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaj has congratulated all the winners and encouraged all the participants to come forward and participate in the OM Sri Surabhi Campaign. His Grace Urug Krama Prabhuji, co-owner Cowpathy, has also sent his best wishes to all the winners and participants and encouraged them to use Gau Mata based products in place of modern cosmetics and thus participate in cow protection.
Participants were thankful for the quiz and requested OM Sri Surabhi Campaign to organize more such interesting activities.
